5 generations at the service of Art

The Haligon family has been fabricating sculptures over 3 centuries, starting around 1875, and still active today in France and the USA. Caroline has been managing the Miami-based family studio for the past decade. She worked on a wide array of sculptures from production to installation and restoration.

Caroline is expanding the family legacy by becoming an art appraiser.

A family history…

Caroline is the fifth generation of French Sculpture Fabricators, the Haligon Family.

The Haligon family studio was established around 1875. From generation to generation, the passion of sculpting was inherited. Louis Haligon participated in the enlargement of the Statue of Liberty by Bartholdi in the 1880’s for New York City.

From enlargement, molding, casting and painting to engineering, installation and restoration, the family is everything about sculptures. Olivier (Caroline’s father) opened his studio in Miami, FL, in 1998 and has achieved a strong international reputation among the Art world.

Caroline studied in France, graduating with a Master’s degree specialized in Art Market Law. She completed her internship at the Fondation Cartier in Paris and then practiced her skills working in art galleries before relocating to Miami in 2010.

Since 2010, Caroline Haligon is working alongside her father to perpetuate the long lasting family tradition and craftmanship.
